Terms & Conditions (Rental Agreement)

By booking with Splash Party Chicago, you (the “Lessee”) agree to the following Terms and Conditions and assume all liability associated with the rental equipment.

1. Reservations, Deposits, and Payments

  • Deposits: A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your reservation date and time.

  • Final Payment: The remaining balance is due prior to or at the exact time of delivery. We accept major credit cards and cash.

  • Cancellation: If you need to cancel for non-weather-related reasons, you must do so at least 7 days prior to your event to receive a “raincheck” credit for a future rental. Deposits are non-refundable.

2. Weather & Rain Policy

For the safety of all participants, Splash Party Chicago reserves the right to cancel any delivery due to hazardous weather conditions, including but not limited to heavy rain, thunderstorms, or sustained winds exceeding 15–20 mph.

  • If we cancel your rental prior to delivery due to weather, you will receive a full refund or a raincheck.

  • Once the equipment is delivered and set up, no refunds will be issued for weather-related interruptions.

3. Site Preparation & Setup

  • Space Requirements: The setup area must be flat, clear of rocks, sharp objects, debris, and animal waste. The Lessee is responsible for ensuring the dimensions of the area accommodate the rented equipment.

  • Utilities: The Lessee must provide a dedicated standard 110V electrical outlet within 100 feet of the setup area. For water slides, the Lessee must provide a working water source and standard garden hose that reaches the setup area.

  • Underground Utilities: Splash Party Chicago uses heavy stakes to secure inflatables. It is the Lessee’s responsibility to identify and mark underground utility lines, sprinkler systems, or pipes. We are not liable for damage to underground lines.

4. Rules of Operation & Safety

ADULT SUPERVISION IS REQUIRED AT ALL TIMES. The Lessee agrees to enforce the following safety rules:

  • No shoes, eyeglasses, jewelry, or sharp objects inside the inflatables.

  • No food, candy, gum, drinks, or pets allowed in or around the equipment.

  • NO SILLY STRING. Silly String causes permanent damage to the vinyl. If Silly String is found on the equipment, the Lessee will be charged a minimum $500 cleaning/repair fee or the full replacement cost of the unit.

  • Do not exceed the manufacturer’s weight and capacity limits posted on the unit.

  • No flips, wrestling, or roughhousing.

5. Equipment Damage and Cleanliness

The Lessee is responsible for the equipment from the time of setup until pickup. The equipment must be returned in the same condition it was delivered (normal wear and tear excepted). If the equipment is damaged due to negligence, failure to follow rules, or vandalism, the Lessee will be responsible for all repair or replacement costs, plus any lost rental revenue.

6. Release of Liability and Hold Harmless

The Lessee understands and acknowledges that participation in inflatable and water slide activities entails inherent risks of physical injury. The Lessee voluntarily agrees to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Splash Party Chicago, its owners, employees, and agents from any and all claims, actions, or damages related to bodily injury, property damage, or death arising out of the use, rental, or operation of the equipment, whether caused by the negligence of Splash Party Chicago or otherwise.

7. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois.
